A Kryll Storm is Brewing!

Today we are pleased to share the first video footage from Bullet Marsh, one of the new multiplayer maps included with the free Versus Booster Map Pack coming to all Gears 3 players on November 24, which is Thanksgiving Day in the US.

Bullet Marsh is a reimagining of Gears 1’s foreboding, swampy stomping grounds where shooting out an old generator extinguishes the lights above and unleashes the bat-like, bloodthirsty Kryll, putting at danger anyone left standing in the dark.

Don’t stray too far from lit areas, and be sure navigate the low-lying marsh areas with caution as you trudge through rain and lightning. Beware of the map’s darkest corners, where the Kryll are waiting to swarm and devour unsuspecting combatants with their dense fangs.

  It was called the HORDE Command Pack. Epic made it blatantly clear the maps on the DLC were for Horde and Private only, and the Versus maps would be separate because they have to be added to the servers. Your fault if you assumed something that was neither stated nor implied. :

Even with the $30 spent, you are still saving money. Hell 4 content packs on a game like CoD is going to run you $60. So there is no room I can see for complaining about the price.

IDC what any one’s argument is. We ALL paid ~$60 for this game, and that included the maps that were ALREADY ON THE DISC. They were ours when we completed the transaction contract.. It’s like having a locked room in a house you bought.. It’s your room, the previous owner can’t just be like ‘just hold on for a sec.. Actually, better idea, I’ll sell they key to you.’

Did you note the download size? If this was intended, and all Epic would have to do was upload the 128-bit key to unlock the maps. The download was slightly larger, implying a key and some minor updates/bug fixes.

I’m just wondering if it’s true that the Booster Map Pack counts as a
Season Pass DLC. I saw a forum on Xbox stating that The Horde Command
Pack is 1st, The Booster Pack is 2nd, and Ramm’s Shadow is 3rd (I don’t
know anything about the 4th). If this is indeed true then we did get
ripped off because we paid for 3 DLC’s when it clearly says that the
Season Pass includes 4 DLC titles. If the 2nd title is free to everyone
but still counts towards the Season Pass deal then doesn’t that mean
we’re only getting 3? In other words people buying the Season Pass would
end up paying more than buying the DLC separately. I’m not attempting
to talk down about this game but I would however like the facts about
how Epic is breaking this down. I understand that the Booster Pack does
NOT come with the additional characters, placement upgrades, or
achievements that the Horde Command Pack has, however it still seems a
bit dirty to give those maps to everyone else for free. I understand if
others don’t feel that way but as someone who paid for the Season Pass
it’s a bit irritating. I hope someone knows of a way to clarify all this
and I thank you.

just looked thru sum of these comments, WTF is wrong wit u ppl not a single tyro station request!!!!!! that map is easily one of the greatest gears maps ever. and they gotta bring back canals. As far as gow2, jacinto and security are a must. I dont know about u guys but the second they release a retro map pack im buying that shit asap, nuthin beats the classics!

i bought it and i to think others shouldent get it for free. If they wanted people to use for multiplayer, they should just make a playlist for only new and bought maps
