Ten New Achievements to Earn in RAAM’s Shadow DLC

Excited for the upcoming RAAM’s Shadow campaign DLC? Hell, of course you are—a riveting new story, a dynamite cast of new and returning characters, and ten new achievements to bolster your Gamerscore. Just for the Gears community, we’ve got a little taste of the challenges to come in RAAM’s Shadow, with your first look at those ten achievements just begging to be earned. Don’t forget: RAAM’s Shadow debuts on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace on December 13th for just 1,200 Microsoft Points—or, for Season Pass holders, the sweet, sweet price of free.

Welcome to Zeta – Complete “RAAM’s Shadow” in Standard Campaign on any difficulty. (25 points)
Some Friendly Competition – Completed “RAAM’s Shadow” in Arcade on any difficulty. (25 points)
Help from my Friends – Completed “RAAM’s Shadow” in 4 player co-op in Arcade or Standard Mode. (25 points)
Finger of Doom – As RAAM, kill 50 gears using your Kryll. (15 points)
I’m Rubber, You’re Glue – As Mauler, kill 10 Gears by reflecting their bullets using your shield. (15 points)
Death from Above – Using the Hammer of Dawn Command Center, kill 50 Locust. (15 points)
Unarmed and Dangerous – Using the Loader, kill 10 Locust. (15 points)
Ghosts from the Past – Play 10 matches of Versus as a member of Zeta (Barrick, Tai, Minh, or Valera) (Standard or Casual). (15 points)
Foreshadowing – As RAAM, execute Minh 10 times in Versus MP (Standard or Casual). (25 points)
Zeta Team, Go! – Complete waves 1 – 10 of Horde with 5 players as Zeta (Barrick, Tai, Minh, Valera, and Jace). (75 points)

I think they could have been more imaginative like kill 1000 people as RAAM. I hate mp gears 3 at the mo everyone is female characters trying to get that stupid female onyx medal.   You can look up the new characters and features by simply finding the announcement page for the DLC on this website. Basically, two characters from previous games (Tai and Minh) one character from the comics (Barrick) and one new character (Valera). The campaign add-on takes place before Gears of War 1, and during one section of it, you can play as General RAAM.

  The difficulty actually effects the money you invest into defense upgrades. If you play on casual you would get 1.0 x the amount of money you used. But if you use mutators the amount going towards your upgrade goes down. Let’s say you use infinite ammo only. 1.0 x 0.75= 75% of the money you use is counted towards your defense upgrade. if you put 3 easy mutators you will only be contributing 25% of the money you used on your defenses.

I can’t wait to unlock all of these on my Gears of War 3 Xbox. Completing the RAM Shadow DLC campaign add-on (‘Welcome to Zeta’) is my first Priority on 13th Dec for sure. I will have to say some of these are stupid though. ‘Death from Above’ should have been in Horde Comand Pack in the first place. @EPIC Games you should have released something like this instead of that Gears 2 Trash, this is the Best GOW# for sure.

Wow, anyone remember the Beta’s Vengeful? Why do you think it failed SOOOO badly, even trying to get 1?

First, you had to be on a specific team (COG), second an enemy had to do a specific thing (Kill you 5 times), and then you had to finish them (in this case, with a face punch).

So take all the times you’ve gotten vengeful, reduce that by 50%, deduct the times you got it with a chainsaw or retro charge or a pickup on a leader, and voila, that’s how messed up it was.

Foreshadowing is just as much a failure. You need to be RAAM on the Locust. Your enemy needs to specifically pick Minh (and the majority of players won’t have the DLC). And then you have to finish them. Oh, and for every idiot who thinks “I’ll just get it in private multiplayer”, two words; You Can’t.

Here’s what that’s called, A GIANT F’ING FAILURE ON YOUR PART AGAIN EPIC!!!

I would NEVER use Minh as a character model, I will use Barrick for 10 games then back to Onyx Guard (works well with my Onyx guns) and I’d rather run Theron Elite than RAAM, but at least RAAM is a Theron.

Epic, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, GO FUCK YOURSELVES! Until one of you cunts legitimately gets all Gears of War achievements (no auto unlocks) don’t force your bull on us. Oh, also, NOT EVERYONE WHO PLAYS GEARS IS AMERICAN SO STOP WITH THE US BASED EVENTS!!!
