i just got the new dlc and when i try to launch the new playlist it wont work i was just wondering if yall were gonna fix this problem

When I try to get into the playlists, it says that I need to fix my Party Type into one that is Xbox Live-enabled, even though it already is enabled. Then it won’t let me search for matches. Anybody else experiencing this?

gears of war sucks i used to be a major gears fan till i realized it kinda sucks i mean whats the point of playing countless hours for an onyx  medal when it brings no reward you just get burned out on the game and everything that you get exclusive will just be added later come on

all video games are basically a waste and bring you no reward other than self intertainment unless the xbox now shoots out money when u get an achievement

I have downloaded the DLC but now I cant get into any games because my Xbox says I need to change my Xbox Live Party type in order to play but it won’t let me, can anybody help me with this?

This dlc is no good then make you buy it to play the game,and i dont like to buy thing right away to play a game i owe.MW3 it is.

When the message comes up, back out to the very first start screen…it’ll work fine after that not sure why it happens, mainly just on Stay Frosty playlist i think, i know its an annoyance but atleast this way you can still play

That solved the problem, at least for right now, no telling if it will pop back up again, but thanks.

Found out the other solution is to click your party onto Local and then back to your original party setting. That worked for me, at least for right now.

Okay…when i get into a game, it disconnects me and my mates from xbl, then says there is no internet connection from the modem/router (MTU error) although my internet is working fine, clearly…this happens for both wired and wifi connection…i am fucking mad, Epic need to have a fix up for this asap…

You wouldn’t get reset if you weren’t trying to glitch profiles. The only way your stats get cleared is when you either drop out in the middle of a game without saving (Sometimes) or if you’re trying to glitch by signing in a second profile to copy achievements. If you stop glitching or being babies and quitting out early you wont have this issue. I’ve never been reset but then again I don’t cheat either. Stop wasting everybody’s time because once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Wrong! I lost all progress because my console froze at the end of a Horde wave and when I signed back into Gears, the corrupted gamesave was overwritten. The overwrite IS the failsafe to discourage people from modding their gamesaves, but if there’s a console related error, you suffer the same reset.

Don’t simply say “Everyone who suffers reset is a cheater” because I know first hand that isn’t true.

IF you have a console crash mid game ALWAYS check your game data in storage/gears 3 and see if they corrupt..  that way  if it is corrupt delete and once you start the game it will update your files to the last known online save  so you should be ok…

i’ve rage quit/ left mid game/ left just after start of game and even during a loading screen quit to dash and i still have my rank intact…also clearing your cache files off the hdd may help every few months…

You should add a play list named (Lone COG) or someting like that, it would be great to play alone against all.

Look it up on google. Level 99 then reset to 1. If you turn off your xbox while you are level 99 you get reset to level 1.

I have not yet had the chance to hop on a few matches yet. But i did notice something even after this release my collection isn’t complete I noticed that the beta cole train still shows up. Is there anyway you can get rid of that? I thought this dlc was going to complete my collection but i guess not.

A) Releasing it early while the Horde Dance-A-Tron was still live and able to be glitched.

B) You didn’t re-roll servers before launch and people were able to keep the event going even after the DLC dropped and event ended by hosting a game prior to it and keeping it live.

just got LOBOTOMIZER onyx headshot medal. i lost all my headshot stats and kills and EVERYTHING… but i got to keep my main medal.. which is lobotomizer. if i change it i cant change it back to lobotomizer cuz its not even showing up as acheived.

Epic you have created a very literal ghetto in terms of separating the player base by giving dedicated servers(that have been free up to this point and were never annouced before today that they were eventually going away) to people who are pay for fenix rising and forcing the people dont who buy into a ghetto of terrible lag, dropped games, and countless glitches due to how unstable non-dedicated server hosting.

 I have been played a couple times a week since launch and I have NEVER experienced any real noticable lag or hosting errors, now today alone I had 3 games have to restart due to hosts leaving (which by the way is great how it restarts a round that one team about to win and by great I mean is dumb as all hell)and even one match up where a I was placed on a team with 3 other people (1 bot) and the enemy team got 6 people (5 people and 1 bot). Are you trying to put non-dlc buying customers through gameplay hell in order to get their $10?

I thought the dedicated server had improved gameplay for gears GREATLY over gears 2, which ran rampant with hosts glitching/using the hosting to their advantage. It is insanely backwards of you to bring turn that advancement back and put it on people who equally bought the game,that are still playing the game. This is NOT how you treat a community of players. 

I couldn’t give two shits about fortnite now, if this is how you treat your community then I want nothing to do with another multiplayer based game from you guys.

if you read trough all comments is about that everyone that was playing the game the most in the last 4 months and got all their stats in both stats and awards, and now since the title update, we lost all our remainings as proof that we have been in that level(like we yust got this game). Like all others, i was lvl 94 got all unlocks both in mutators and fortifications (didn’t care about medals and k/d that much), but then got reseted and lost everything. good thing the campaign still is recorded that i beated it on insane, but now i have to beat both horde and beast on insane again(something you never want to do again after you first beaten it) if there is any way to fix this, please do since this rank reset have really pissed off the community bad. And i know im not the only one thinking this.

This game was great when it came out… now it’s garbage. I’ve played gears since GoW1 and bought the epic edition plus the sp. I feel like epic just cares about its money, which is ok for you need to make profit, but they’re really screwing over the gow community on how they’re going about things. At least put the servers back.

so far i have not had any problem with dlc   the only way you are going to get reset is if you glitch your you acount

What’s more annoying is, after I get a successful connection to a public match, I got kicked to the main menu and it says “Connection to the host lost.”

Weird thing is, all my friends that is in my party is in the game except me.

Oh and I also got couples of Xbox Live disconnection last night when my router is doing just fine.

check your NAT type…if it is open you should be good otherwise if it moderate like mine got switched too I was getting the same error. I had to reste  my router and that fixed the issues

When i play Multiplayer it says i cannot connect because i have to switch my party type to Xbox live type. And i already have it on Joinable freinds. HELP

they pay more money if they buy them all individually tho so they technically have more right than us season pass holders

MY player got reset, I was re-up lvl 30, and so many onxy medals.

I was getting messages saying lost connection to host. got booted. character glitching around like crazy.

Not sure if epic reads this or even the developers but… The add on / update before  fenix rising the 5 mb one that turned the gold lvl 100 to bronze the the fenix rising update was much more than an update There were tweaks that were not listed this is speculation however I pay very close attention to detail so here is the simple things I noticed Retro charge takes much longer to build up about 1.5 seconds or so. Grenades have a bigger blast radius, active reloaded boomshots blast radiuses are ridiculous also ink grenades affected area is about double the size but a longer window to escape. revved lancers has an insanely huge window I ran past a revved lancer and was nearly a two player distance and was chainsawed. Most of all the sawn off has about a 1 foot extension on range. Noticed this many time both giving and receiving. People still use 4 + stage modded controllers it is not possible to pull the trigger that fast will sweeping and do it accurately with that small and sensitive of a sight just look at them use the cog pistol clip in less than 1second. Movement also seems to have been slowed down a bit noticed that I am getting to certain areas in a longer period of time could just be me. I’d rather mechanic Baird than another cole train. On top of all these “hidden tweaks” trying to play an online TDM or other mode is hit and miss it takes about 4 tries after backing out to title and then players glitching around and one time I waited for someone to jump over to get the kick and one shot and went to move out the way I moved but he went up like 6 feet in the air and ended up behind me and got OSOK’d. I have shot people point blank in the head aimed down with the gnasher and nothing happens just to be exploded by one of their shots. The turned a really good smooth 3ps into a mess connection errors unnecessary tweaks and not addressing modded controllers turned a perfect ten IMO into a five or six.

 I tell you, if they don’t bring back the dedicated servers for non-dlc owners, I’m going to sell the game. It’s no use to play gow3 with laggy host-based matches when the best thing of this game was the clean online gameplay… It’s like playing gears 1 and 2.

This was happening to me too,  more than once yesterday. I just had to keep pushing back until I was at the start screen and then start again. So annoying though.

Ok correct me if im wrong but i have all DLC and stuff but we are suppose to have dedicated servers. Right? Well if thats true why does it say “cant connect to host” it should say “cant connect to server” and i still notice a lot of people that seem to have host shotgun and stuff.

im sick and tired of the leg and its like every time u guys come up with a new add on of downloadable content it messes up something plz fix the problems that are pissing the true and loyal GOW fans/players like myself off… GOW is literally like the only game I play That keeps my interest “in my own” opinion theres no other game that have shit on GOW hands down! So plz fix The Tweaks and bugs in this game ASAP!!! especially the mod controller crap!!!!

well previous saves i’d got from a 2nd mem card showed the game save to have no gamer pic just a exclamation point and it says corrupt file where it would normally say what it was….the simple solution is to only leave AFTER stat updates not during them….which is after a match has started in the middle or at the end AFTER you have updated your stats….

and don’t cheat/boost/ hack….

I downloaded the new maps and have been on for almost 3 hours and have yet to play on one new map. this is BS.

I have to agree with John Beck. Although it happened to me in Gears 2. After I downloaded a demo for another game I had some of my games saves being corrupted and I had to start back from lv1 (I was lv 75…). Eh…

can I play on those maps offline or those are only for online gaming????

yep, what they forget to mention is that they no longer offer dedicated servers to the people who payed for (and were informed that they’d be getting) dedicated servers

the fenix rising dlc is great but i got put back to a level 1 2day i was a level 90 so plz could u put my level be on to a level 90 plz 

yet we can’t customize weapons beyond skins, and we can’t play beast mode like horde is played, why?

i can play them all day in host private but what fun is that i woud like to play them in joinable as well i my wife and  love the game spen hours playing it but what did we spend our money for buying th fenix rising dlc if we cant play them on live   Thanks for a great Game
