In the Alpha Playlist, I think KOTH is a more solid and fitted game type to the Alpha rules. Thrashball Drone looks awesome too! And Get Gnashty sounds FAR better than hardcore, because the games often devolved into just sitting back with the pistols- not everyone just using the gnasher. The new 1 bullet in the snub should change that though. Great improvement guys!

I personally think that the Boooomsnipes playlist is the best. I really enjoyed playing it and they need to bring it back as a permanent playist along with the get gnashty playist. Come on Epic the people have spoken.

The way it should be! The game is been out for 4 months now & I have played 3 EXE games and over 100 Warzone games! I will never set another foot into EXE when the Ded. servers are 1) up and running or 2) The Ded. Servers are more consistant! Epic knows how to disappoint their fans!

wall bouncing takes skill, you can only do it when your good…..its not hard to hammerburst someone down from across the map when they are fighting someone else

if u wall bounce ur only exploiting the game, like the guy who keeps spinning the handles really fast in fooseball. it doesnt make you good but u get lucky every now an again. the gnasher is the signature weapon of gears multiplayer, anyone can sit back and hit u from far away with a rifle, but when ur up in someones face gnashers the only way to go.

Unless this isn’t happening until 2014 then you’ve gotten the date wrong. Also I think the current game modes are fine, however guardian should make a comeback perhaps in some events. The only beef I have is with the requirements for certain medals being unrealistic, such as the Vengeful which seems to reward failure. I am a hardcore gears fan.

I think Gears should have every experimental playlist they’ve ever had open, with just tweaked experience gain- kinda like the Halo series. I like to play with scrub weapons like the boomshot and torque because I like to actually enjoy the multiplayer instead of stress out about why I’m not on top every game. Permanently adding the fun stuff would bring more players to Gears Multiplayer. Stay Frosty and One Shot were great!

Bring back this is my rifle. This is my Rifle was the ONLY play list to feature actual skill. Gnashers have no skill anymore they are a noob weapon that has been over powered in distance and power. The only reason THE ONLY reason people use the Gnasher is because of how much damage it has at long range. take away that range and NO one would ever touch that thing. because then they would actually die from a rifle like they should, rifles are becoming extinct because of this weapon. Because the developers think just because more than half the community are Gnasher noobs that litteraly cant go through a match without it will just cry and stop playing. I can use the Gnasher like every one else, i have played enough to know how it works and all people do is use that gun and active reload it. That is all. Its a trash noob weapon it should no be used in events period considering it takes no skill to use. I enjoy these new events and getting new things but stop and make a update, the Gnasher was fine in the beta now its ruined.

How about get more creative with character skins and weapon skins eh? Stop making every skin the same damn thing..MVP cole train is the only one that is a skin that stands out. Make better skins! Shoot put Colonel Hoffman in a white robe with a cigar and slippers or some shit. haha I mean the dude is a veteran after all and could have his “retired” skin on just something like that would stand out instead of all of these classic this and classic that character skins..also enough with the camo skins! chocolate looked exactly the same as camo but a diff color..you could have made it melting off the gun or something. I would just like to say that sure it takes practice to wall bounce but the only reason people do it is because it causes bullets to NOT count because of lag. Go ahead and play a lan match and see how far wall bouncing gets you. So if you ask me it is an exploit.

Well who honestly cares for Quick Match KD ratio. You can vs Bots to get your KD up like you said. And for everyone they could just boost their medal if they really want the onyx medal anyway. So I do not see the problem for playlist regarding they use one specific weapon to get their medals up. Cause lets face it Seriously 3.0 is deadly enough to get. Even with the boosting or in game types like this or boosting in general is awful if you are going for this achievement.

Well there are people who are using mod’s for their hammerburst. And I Know a lot of Gears 2 player’s who do use them just for ranked matches in Gears 2 and 3. And I have played a full team using mods it’s horrible they can really take control of a map and you cannot do a damn thing. But I really wish epic would at least try to bring in the original Hammerburst from Gears 1 to Gears 3. It would honestly stop all of the arguments and complaints about people using mod’s. Hell I would even like to see both hammerburst’s in this game.

I for one don’t care for the sudden increase in prestigers. I get it, they’re dedicated to gears and are better at it than me. That’s fine. I don’t like spending my evening playing entire teams of these guys, as it gives me about no chance to win, especially when they 2 shot me down with gnashers from mid range.

I’d also love to see the servers get fixed, they been very unreliable since update.

Playlist sounds.. Interesting. I do have to point out the obvious fact that we can use a gnasher in any gametype on any map anytime we want, so these kind of things aren’t that special. The pistol thing is kind of cool as long as it has one bullet and then a reload, not like the godlike pistol from Stay Frosty.
Also, why can’t these fun little unlocks like Thrashball Drone and the Christmas weapon skins be permanent? I want to be able to look at them and remember the fun I had when they came out. I think a lot of you agree that you’d rather keep the skins, right? At least it’s something NEW, instead of the super duper exclusive “LE” Cole Train… who is obviously nothing like the other Cole Train that people had to actually earn; no, this Cole Train has blue pants. Totally different.

I love owning kids like you that think the gnasher is the greatest thing ever. I did it in Gears 1 when it was hard, Gears 2 when kids thought wallbouncing got them kills and I still do it in gears 3 where i can stand still and hip fire wall bouncers with only a fraction of the effort. Honestly Stay frosty was good playlist yes they was alot of campers and if your that worried about your k/d w/l ratio then why the hell play it honestly, I think it was fun yeah people camped on it but hell if you dont like what your seeing see that little start button yeah push that go to leave match and problem solved I have had my head pop’ed so many times by campers and done in with the hammerburst so cheap it was pitful but dam I kept playing and didnt whine about it if i didnt want to play with the people i was playing with i would leave the match so before you start crying about one mode there are plenty of other modes to play as for boosting your rank and etc who cares what they do in a quick match theres a ranked match for you people who are crying over this so for one thing just shut up and play the game and try enjoy it without crying when you get beat i visit these forums often and this is all i see people crying about the sawed off the gnasher and now stay frosty mode my god there are so many other modes you can play but yet you want to focus your hate on on mode because you have a few bad games in it you know if you play more than a hour in that mode you would eventually get used it and be able to get some amazing kills ((as for me visitng this forum often not this paticular one but i hav e read alot on the others)) Anyway this paragraph got longer than i thought just chill out and keep trying winning isnt everything Oh as for replies i dont really reply to trolls its a waste of my time to show you any attention

It would be nice if the Players Choice playlist were actually random. I really enjoy all the game types and think it would be nice for them to change after each match. There could be a voting system between matches. Provide 2-3 options and everyone votes on the next game type.

While that IS very true but if there’s a Player who’s Not even Looking in your direction at all,and your the Only 2 players left playing in the match and all of a sudden he Kills you with a Single Bullet from the Hammerburst and gets a Head Shot when he’s Not even facing your Direction and has No Clue your even there then that’s Suspicious enough for me to say the guy’s Modded his Hammer Burst in some way or form.

It was good but I always played with a team that only consumed lives but that doesn’t matter.

It should be a way to unlock what was achieved only in the beta, such as Flame skins, with Onyx of that weapon. And Golden retro.

Trashball Cole (already released in the DLC but it changes a little the color of their clothing), winning games like Superstar Cole in Trashball map being MVP (or something like that).
We will never achieve the 100% because we did not play the beta.
And do not talk about the Beta Tester Medal.

It would be good to get the limited pre-sale characters, Savage Grenadier Elite , Savage Kantus (already released in the DLC but it changes a little the color of their clothing), Commando Dom, Mechanic Baird.

Fair enough.  I think the big difference is how much easier it is to kill people and bots in this.  If people stay in this lobby vs. regular TDM it’s essentially 4 shot kills with 35 respawns to go through.

Those weapons are put there from the developers SO DEAL WITH IT!!!! Every weapon has a counter (check Wikipedia) so it’s the player’s job to think and make a decision on what weapons to use! they need to bring ctf back from gears 2 where you capture the stranded that was fun, but the multiplayer of gears 3 would be better fi they put in game modes that dont require the expensive extension packs that cost 2GB of space like why would i buy those just to play new modes and maps? Gears creators please think about it cuz then you would have more ppl playing if everyone was able to play those modes and free maps cuz really 2GB isnt worth a short chapter of story

I would appreciate if you guys made Gnashers or even Brothers as a permanent playlist. 

There really aren’t any gametypes that encourage the use of the Gnasher, most Gears fans’ favorite weapon. 

Like this if you think that Gnashers/Snubs should be a permanent playlist.

i like going up against klans by myself  im not in a klan or plan on being in 1 yeah there might be 5 of as 4 me i always fly solo yea i help my team when they need help krayzie1 is my gamertag anybody that wants to fight me  bring it and i dont use the sawd off i use the gnasher and all my rifles oh and fyi. i dont camp

A cool character but for a limited time? That really sucks, they should had added the Thrashball Drone in Fenix Rising, it would had make more sense since they gave us Cole Train LE and cooler like that. Game developers are so unfair these days like always.

Why not just make the the Thrashball Drone a permanent character? Like I can understand why the weapon skins for Christmas weren’t permanent because they wouldn’t be that hard to design. But character designs are different they take a lot of time. Why only put the character in for the super bowl then get rid of him? It just doesn’t make much sense. And don’t just remove him now just to put him in future dlc’s because that would just be the biggest rip off.

i really want to play gears of war 3 but i just play one week since i left florida (november/2011) and a lot of  my stuff i have it in boxes and i ask my mom when can i connect my xbox again? and  my mom always telling me ”the next week” and im mad because i have my limited edtion xbox and the octus medal and i just redeem the codes on xbox.com cuz i dont have my xbox connected and i really want play gears 3 again and buy the season pass and play on this awesome events.

they should make thrashball drone DLC and make it LE with red trunks instead of white like how cole train LE has blue trunks instead of white
