I’ve been with my lovely girlfriend for 7yrs! and we both love gears to the extreme shes in love with Dominic Santiago/ Dizzy.. we both have been following Gears through 1 and through the books.. this would be an amazing gift for her! 

I started playing Gears at my cousin’s house in 2006 and I fell in love with it!!! The story just moved me so much plus the characters are so unique and hilarious. I can’t wait for the prequel!!!!

well.. I can say I’m a die hard fan when it comes to gears.. I was there in the beginning for gears of war, pre ordered and got it at midnight, I was only 13 at the time and was mesmerized by all of the guts and gore that gears had to offer.. Played it through 20+ times all while devastating online players, could never be more satisfied.. Then came gears of war 2, a cycle that I’d begin to repeat over and over, waiting in extreme anticipation for the 3rd. Insane mode could not suffice my craving for a challenge.. Finally gears 3 comes, I buy epic edition, clear off my desk for the amazing Marcus statue, and play through the night on co-op campaign with 3 others friends for 6 hours.. Knowing that I had school in less than an hour, I  continued on..it was completely worth the wait.. Finally there.. Come February I’m rank 99 and found out there’s a  re-up opportunity. The next time I try to play, my game freezes at “loading profile”… Over and over… There’s no hope.. I look it up for a possible quick fix and see that you just delete “campaign data” and you’re good to go… Apparently not… I do this, and quickly realize I’m back to square one… Rank one that is… No medals.. No ribbons… No weapon skins… No characters… No anything… So, instead of giving up.. I think of it as a sort of “re-up”.. A fresh start… Now I’m a rank 30 with a 2.0 killdeathratio  and everything’s going good… A portable gaming device would be really nice for all of that wasted time that will never be recovered…

I must say most games I play tend to be disappointing at least in story line or general plot. i started with gears 1, progressed to gears 2, and loved my epic fails with in horde and online game play, and when gears 3 emerged i must say i was simply blown away, It had everything one could expect, or want out of a game dynamic campaign, massive multiplayer options, the improved horde, BEAST mode!! and so much more I actually converted some of m die-hard halo fan friends to massive gear heads lol. these games have become apart of my gaming life and will forever hold a place on my game shelf.
