Gears of War 3: Forces of Nature, Jacinto Flythrough

All of the new maps in the just-announced Gears of War 3 DLC “Forces of Nature” take place during or after a natural disaster. There are three brand new maps, Cove, Aftermath and Artillery. Two old fan favorites will be making a return, Jacinto and Raven Down. Fog, snowstorms and tsunamis will make playing these maps quite an adventure.

There are also special weapons hidden in the maps during Horde and Beast mode called “Elemental Cleavers.” The cleavers do different types of damage, like an imulsion cleaver that explodes on impact. Fans will also be treated to four character models and seven new weapon skins. Two of the weapon skins, which were designed based on community feedback, will need to be unlocked. There is also 250 gamerscore points added with this DLC.

We listen closely to your suggestions and feedback and we’re happy to announce that the game mode Guardian will be making a return with the “Forces of Nature” DLC.

I think that Epic should also put in a classic mode. I would like that when I was tired of getting sawed offed and retro lancered, I could go to that mode and play what made gears great. I’m not saying take those weapons out of the game, but just give the gears fans that have been there since day 1 another option is all.

I have suggestions for weapon skins and characters. Awesome skins would be a blue flame weapon skin, green slime, zebra stripe, furry weapon skin, and money skin. Two characters that I think would be cool would be Royal Myrrah as seen in GOW2 Campaign, and ’In-prison’ Marcus which would be Marcus in an orange jumpsuit.

Epic is there going to be a beast dlc if there is then extend the waves to 24 because the first 12 waves could be non lambent then the rest of the wavescould be lambent that u could switch forward and backward to choose if you want to be a non lambent or lambent.also when the waves go to 12 they go really fast.

great so we’re paying twice for the same content! preorder character skins! Old maps, i was sorry I bought the season pass when Fenix rising came out(still haven’t downloaded it).
give me some actual new content like Ramm’s shadow(it was short but good) give me more campaign not multiplayer maps I already own from the first two games and have already bought twice over. also whats the point in releasing new maps when it just cycles through the same 4 maps over and over again.

Epic I believe you’ve mixed up some dlc characters. I have a locust called savage marauder ok and the one in the picture above standing beside Baird is the one I have. Now my Xbox may have glitched which is highly improbable or that locust in the picture is something else. I’ve heard it’s called the savage creeper. is that correct? But besides that I believe that we have a serious lack in locust. I personally would like skorge to return especially with him having such a large fan base. Also with how much we saw the palace guard in campaign, he should be added as well people have wanted to use the palace guard since gears 2 first came out. Cyclops and bolter should be included cyclops especially since it was playable in gears 2. Armored kantus would be an awesome character to use outside of beast, I actually use it in beast more than the berserker. I know i’m just one voice but hopefully this one voice can help with your decisions for the game.

And for all the other people complaining about pre-order skins, grow up. You didn’t “earn” anything. You spent your money at a different place than other people, or people who can’t get pre-orders, or people who couldn’t spend the money then. I have Commando Dom, but I pre-ordered long before he was announced. I may have used him week one, but I haven’t since. Once I unlocked Classic Baird I couldn’t give a fuck less about him, as with most people who got pre-order characters. I also have Beta Cole, but I don’t use him. I don’t see what it proves that you have him, you spent, at the least, five buck and a lot of people probably just took it back later. I see your point, you did kind of earn him (more than any other post release chracter), but you still have any obviously determinable character that proves you did earn him. I won’t use any of these characters, and I haven’t used any dlc characters since RAAM and Bernie.

Keep on going EPIC, most of us still love you guys and what you do, we just don’t feel the need to post as much as these raging lunatics who think you’ve taken your money by some other-worldly methods. I’m gald to see JAcinto back (very glad actuallly), and Raven Down will be crazy (CTL will never end lol), and I’m sure these new maps will be as amazing as ever! Guardian was my favorite game mode of Gears 2. I hope it’s still Hoffman, I fucking HATE Chairman “Mother-fucking shit-faced genocidal monster bastard douchebag” Prescott, as me and my friends call him(we actually call him Prescitt, what Adam called him, as an insult). Myrrah’s a bitch, but she’s better than Skorge (weirdo wore a metal bra for Christ’s sake).

EPIC is one of my most beloved developers and always will be, you guys actually listen to your community more than any company I’ve ever seen. I have played a lot of Gears 3 in my time and it will always remain my favorite for versus gameplay. I haven’t palyed much lately (ME3 demo, sorry) and I won’t in the near future (Mass Effect 3, sorry again) but I have never doubted you. Given all this though, I have but two requests: bring back Ruins and the Cyclops.

I am really happy for jacinto back. But one thing that needs to be fix in multiplayer is the way people spon. Is just so retarded that next thing you know there is 3 guys from the oposite team behind you. And also the way they match up people. They trow everyone together. Have a better raking system please. Put people from the same levels against each other. Also they say it dedicated servers but it dont feel like it. Someone always has some type of advantage. N for some reson after 2 am when the freaks come out n play. It rediculos that some of these guys can take so many bulets and all they do is put one on you and your down. Iam talking about nashers. Please fix these i dont know if is the lag or that some if these people are hacking shit. Cus they got some strong shots and it seem like they have double the health. Gears is the bades game out there but it still needs some fine tuning. Please fix it up n give us gears fans what we diserve for supporting you guys all this time. Make rhis game all that it can be.

SECURITY AND RIVER PLEASE! Just add all of the Gears 2 maps. Can you fix the glitch that only happens on OVERPASS in horde. You know the one when you’re screen goes black and all you see are you’re fortifications.. You can hear everything and after the other players think you left you can suddenly join back in on the start of the next wave, but wait, you’re there but not playing, you watch the other guys play (it only lets 2 play now) then after that wave ends it looks like your back in with one other player so the others can’t join now and they think you kicked them and they go post a “likes to quit early” comment. Oh yeah, instead of the black screen sometimes the wave starts then immediately ends, then the screen is all readable but it’s now red and you get negative points. You try again and the same happens. No worries, it only happens on OVERPASS usually above wave 40+ when you have a kick a$$ score going. This happened 4 different times about once a month.

How about when you have your new high score in horde on ANVIL you beat wave 49 with your team then as soon as your ribbons, etc.. start to come on the screen only your game freezes and are forced to pull the plug and get ZERO credit for the game like you never even played but you know you sat there for hours playing! Everyone gets new high scores and I get nothing.

Maybe you guys can stop phucin with the pretty little cosmetic changes on the maps and fix these problems along with the best one yet, the one you brought over from Gears 2, you know the one where you lose all your achievements and get your RANK RESET. And what’s up with dedicated servers? I had better connections in Gears 2.

I say; if fans had to give up their “exclusive” pre order bonus characters, EPIC games should give up their exclusive employee weapons skins. May I say that they also screwed the Xbox employees by making the liquid green skin available. on March 27, you shall feel what Savage Kantus owners felt. Don’t worry you get over it…..

Don’t release the pre order characters as those of us that pre order our copy should have our exclusive rights as the beta players had. seeming that the original thrashball cole train won’t ever be released it would be like a stab in the back on those that pre ordered it.
