“Vault of Tears” Update for Infinity Blade II Announced!

ChAIR and Epic Games announced the new Infinity Blade II: Vault of Tears update today. This is the largest free content update for the game to date and features tons of new single player content as well as innovative new social features. The update will be available for download Thursday May 24th.

Building upon the cooperative ClashMob challenges, players can now earn extra turns and invite their friends, family and other non-Infinity Blade players to do in-game damage with the power of liking and re-tweeting battle calls on Facebook and Twitter!

Delve further into the mysterious past of Siris as new areas are unlocked and major secrets are revealed! New enemies to the single player campaign include the Moss Golem, Dark Fiend, Bog Giant, Acolyte and more. In addition, the all-new Treasure Map feature allows players to find a hidden ally and discover secret items and rewards!

There are also over 50 new items including magic rings, weapons, shields, helmets, and armor. Additional surprises in the form of new achievements, unique gems to forge, and more await you in the new update! Check out the amazing new screenshots below:

I was wondering, im buying the new ipad this week, and is it possible to use my safe file from my ipod touch and transfer it to the ipad, or do i have to start all over?

  I believe you can use iCloud to sync your save files between devices if you turn on Documents sharing over iCloud. Hope this helps.

Today I lost everything from Game+ for the fourth time. When I said “everything”, I mean everything including the character itself. I only have the original game character left. Anybody has the same problem? I don’t want to spend the time playing the game to a high level, only to loose everything when sync it with my computer. I am suspecting that it might be due to the game being open in the background during the backup. But, even if that is the case, I could easy loose the Game+ play again if I forget to stop it before backing up. Any idea? Thanks.

  I also lost a couple of times several levels and mastered weapons (but fortunately never everything)… It really sucks. I noticed it usually happened when I launched the game on the iPhone after having played on the iPad. Even though I always close the app completely before switching device. Actually this sucks so much that I stopped playing IB a few weeks ago… >:-(

    happened to me too. several times. but i stopped playing on different devices (i removed it from my iPhone) and just used the iPad. Also before i get excited for any updates… i back-up to my computer first before i update it. It helps.

  i hate Facebook integration too, but i enjoyed IB tremendously without the update. and i don’t see any reason for someone to hate the developers for releasing an free update that requires Facebook. you should be grateful instead of whining about being unable to play a small additional feature that is optional and free.

I can’t wait till this new update comes out, going to be AWESOME!!! Hope it also fixes the problem where the beastie turns invisible and also playing different invisible creatures without being allowed to move on once you have beaten the said beastie..

Only way I know to fix it (without any update) is to get killed and start the same rebirth over again. (btw I have updated my copy of the game to the latest there is (for now..)

(you get the …..

sword:
pull the sword from the mound of grass after walking down the side hill at the start of rebirth 2, you will then have to fight two consecutive bosses to get it

shield:buy the infinity blade(500000 gold) in the store then go back down the hill during rebirth 3 after placing the sword thus unlocking the crypt underneath the statue of the lady holding the sword you will have to fight a boss the reward is the shieldhelm:during rebirth 4 go down to the location of the stone demon and then buy the crown map from the store(200000 gold) before you fight the demon there will be a carving straight in front of you view the map and click it exactly where it tells you to to get the crownarmor:during rebirth 5 go to the arena and climb the treesteal all coin bags from the massive birds nest to wake it up fight the boss to get the armor and finally the ring:when all of these items are equipped go to the kings tomb (turns out to be yours)the monkey will warn you that it is extremely sad but go down anyway (you see a statue of yourself and your wife)take the ring from the statues hand and leaveholy ring is epic,during a battle it will drain the entire bosses health(up to 80000 dammage) and give all the health to you in return

    no, just go to that area and tap, the space between the king’s hands and the guy on the sit, in the inscribed picture on top of the place where you would fight stone demon. Hope this helps, enjoy, have fun! :]

        tap between that area before you fight the guard as soon as you enter the cave down there. if you fight the titan there and than press the carving nothing happens. you know how yu go in and kill the titan in there. then you kill the boss, before you kill the titn after whos death you kill the boss, tap the crown, anyway, anybody know how i get the ring. i have it all equipt and go to the kings tomb, but nothing

  Equipped Vile Sword & Shield (the only vile equipment I had, for good measure)
  Read the map again
  Clicked where it told me (without fighting the monster on the bridge)

    when you are on the bridge you will click on the man waiting on the other side. Once you do this you will step closer but will not engage in a fight just yet. NOW you can click on the stone and receive the helm.

So many glitches with this update. Cant get the vile crown, even when i have the crown map and am clicking a million times on the thing over where u fight the stone demon. Also, the bird where you get the vile armor just sits on me when i fight it no matter what i do or how many coin bags i pick up. Whats the deal? Am i doing something wrong or is the game just faulty?

  I had the same problem with the crown. You cant’t get it after you fight the guy right before the stone demon. Try clicking on the crown as soon as you get down there

  Have the map, read it after beating the enemy on the bridge, and click between the guys hands and the guys head – voila, Vile Helm. Upper left of the pic. Kill the stone demon, do a rebirth, and go back to the arena with the tree. If you can’t get up the tree – your game is glitchy and B____y!. If you already got the Vile Helm, the Holy Band – whatever maybe this will help others

I have read all your comments but still I could not find my problem, I am having problem with bird titan sleeping inside the tree, when ever I enter the tree i start collecting the coin bags then the bird wakes up and the bird sleeps and I disappear what ever I do its not showings anything I can just hear the sounds could any one please tell me how could I fight with the bird, how can I see the birds attacks, I am just trying to fight but the fight is getting ended and I am coming out from the tree for the next battle so someone please please help me out with this, I have everything all swords, armours, shields, rings, everything but I just need Vile armour so that I can get to the tomb of the king and get the vile ring please help…………

  Uh I know it’s already been two days since you posted this but I know the answer because it happened to me: don’t collect the coin bags while in the cutscene. Wait till after the cutscene, then click around the bird and the trees to collect the money bags, the bird will then wake up, and walla! You got yourself a battle!

  Buy the Crown map, go to the room with the Stone Demon in it. Courtyard –> left into the arena –> down into dungeon room with Stone Demon. Read the map, click the crown in the picture. You can get it before facing the enemy on the bridge

i was totally bummed out about the vile helm forever because i kept clicking the picture and it never did anything. but, in order to get the vile helm, all you do is as soon as you enter that dark cave area (entering from the arena), dont battle the enemy on the bridge yet (the enemy before the stone demon). once the cut scene is finished and you are free to do what you want, THAT is when you get the vile helm. just pan over to the area of where the crown would be place and you should get it. be sure this is the FIRST thing you do once you enter that cave area. hope this helps

Rebirth 25 and I fight the bird just fine…..For those that have trouble with the bird…..while fighting the bird there’s “reaction circle (like the one in ultimate weapon skill)” at the upper left….while fighting the bird do not click on that…..if you do the battle ended immediately and you will not obtain the vile armor.

In the beggining of the rebirth u can down a hill to get the vile sword and shield. The vile helm is located above where there is a carving of a king in the underground place where u fight the stone demon. U can get the vile thorn from a large chest. Wat tree is it the bird is in?

  The only tree? When you get to the courtyard with the statue of some warrior stabbing a dragon or creature with a spear, go right. Grab all the money up top, kill the enemy on the right if you want. Jump down into the arena, click the door, kill the giant beast, turn around and click the tree on the left. (Gogmagog?) the bird should be there to fight – take all of his treasure, look around next to you and the bird

hey a great way to earn money is to go to settings hit restart bloodline one (you keep all of your stuff) and if you have better stuff (weapons armor shields ect.) than what you start with you pay to master everything it gives you equip something else and sell everything you get. DO NOT SELL YOUR INFINITY BLADE it will say that you have two copies but if you sell it then you lose the copy that you can use for the rest of the game. you have to finish saidhais gardens or whatever her name is gardens then kill at least two people in the regular game then you can do it again. the only downside is that if you are very far in the game and get10000+ from a single fight it takes you back to the beginning where you get25 for a fight. i would not recommend this for people who can get 100000+ in a play through. this gets you fast money and works well.

If you have killed stone demon…you can STILL get the vile helmut but I had to kill the bridge guard and approach the shrine as close as possible before tapping the carving would give me the helmut. Good Luck!
