Being an Epic Gamer

Epic Gamer Photo ShootA few of our Epic Gamers were given Epic Gamer t-shirts to wear at E3 2012. @Raczilla asked them to be sure to take some pictures. Well, being the Epic Gamers that they are, they exceeded our expectations and did a full photoshoot! Tim “Arukun14” Fangon asked the group what being an Epic Gamer means to them.

Bio: I’m a dad, first and foremost. I’m also a full-time Computer Engineering student, photographer, and just for fun, I do some graphic design and artwork. For my photographic work, I use an Olympus E-3 and an E-300. The lenses I use are a 35-100 f/2 and a 14-54 f/2.8~3.5.

On Being an Epic Gamer: Being an Epic Gamer means I get to be part of a vast community of really great people and participate in fun get togethers. Whenever I’m out and about, it’s always a lot of fun talking to other Epic Gamers about new Gears content or new, upcoming titles (GoW: JUDGMENT! WOO!).

Bio: I’m known as the Ticker of my clan of Locusts and COGs, but my other friends call me Erika! I am currently an 18-year old full time student, part-time dancer and Game Advisor at GameStop.

On Being an Epic Gamer: Epic Games made me appreciate the value and worth that every single game offers. The hard work and dedication that the Epic team puts in is always evident. From the fantastic beard around Dom Santiago’s face to the heartfelt background music. I will forever be an Epic Gamer …and on Team Dom! Brothers to the End!

Bio: My name is Desi Dumalo. I am a 23 year old business major from California with aspirations of becoming a public relations representative for the gaming industry.

On Being an Epic Gamer: Being an Epic Gamer has opened my eyes to how important Epic Games views the community it has built. Epic Games gives me a very refreshing relief that there are still developers who care about what their community has to say, while being realistic at the same time. The Epic staff is full of energetic and young-hearted professionals that I know are very passionate about what they do. Needless to say, being an Epic Gamer has changed my life and I will always be a fan of Epic’s work!

That is a bit disrespectful don’t you think? We are real people in this community who read this stuff. Please leave your chauvinistic comments to yourself.
