Gears Weekend: One Shot One Kill

You’ve been asking for it so we’ve brought back the One Shot One Kill event for this #GearsWeekend! Longshots are the only available pickup so watch your back, and your head! You will also spawn with the Boltok. The event is live now and we still have 3x XP going as well!

  epic have shut down 50percent of the servers you will find host matches 90percent of the time luck if you get on server game.

Once again, another weekend event I play with only one more to get my socialite achievement and still no ribbon awarded? Can anyone answer what the deal is with this?

    I mean I have 29 out of 30 “events” played from playing the “gears weekend events” and I’m not getting the ribbon rewarded from playing the event which goes towards the War Support medal. The award is the onyx medal from completing 30 out of 30 and the Socialite achievement.

      i recently got that achievement after playing a ton of horde, I usually don’t do the weekend events and I don’t think it unlocked socialite on a weekend so I dont know what to tell you. Ill look it up

        k I looked up details.. apparently I was playing in events… It says you need to play in 30 UNIQUE events so if you already played a one shot one kill event it doesnt add to it. also it says something about playing other match types so maybe if you normally just play KOH try playing a few rounds of Horde or Warzone, beastmode? I play pretty often, but I dont really pay much attention to which achievements are what until I see that I got an achievement. Good luck on it!

  has to be unique event so if you already played a one shot one kill event you wont get it… maybe if you play it on a different mode like koh instead of warzone for example… I managed to get mine in horde not even knowing what it was a couple weeks ago

The event it self would be great but all people do is run to your spawn And use the pistol it’s pointless may as well bring back the boom I love the sniper rifle but 98% of players can’t use it should make a level in to two halfs with a river between the halfs to stop idiots running in to spawn force them to use the sniper rifle also can’t wait for judgement as I hear there is no sawn off shot gun

loving this event 9/10 if you had removed the active damage so scrubs who cant get a head shot cant clip you with the snipe then pull there boltock out i would of given it 10/10
