GEEX and Pushbutton Summit Recap!

GEEX- Infinity Blade - ChAIR - Gears of War 3 TournamentThe festivities kicked-off Thursday night with the opening reception for the 2011 Pushbutton Summit, and ChAIR was presented with Utah’s Digital Leadership Award. Following the presentation of the award, Donald and Geremy spoke to the audience about the history of ChAIR and the Company’s vision for the future of digital entertainment.

GEEX opened on Friday with a ChAIR and Epic Games booth featuring playable Gears of War 3 and Shadow Complex stations and the debut of the Infinity BladeFX arcade machines. Convention-goers were super excited to play Infinity Blade on the giant arcade touch screens for the first time.

GEEX- Infinity Blade - ChAIR - Gears of War 3 TournamentOn Saturday, Donald and Geremy spoke to an audience of gamers about Infinity Blade and provided a sneak preview of Infinity Blade 2. The entire ChAIR team was in attendance for a 2-hour autograph signing, which delighted gamers with an opportunity to meet the team and get an exclusive signed Infinity Blade swag. Later that day, prize packs were awarded to the winners of the Gears of War 3 tournament, who beat out 80 contestants to take home limited edition GOW3 Xbox 360′s signed by Epic developers and staff.

Infinity Blade FX coming to a Dave & Buster’s near you!

Infinity Blade FXThe new ‘Infinity Blade FX’ arcade game is set to make its debut at this week’s 2011 Gaming and Electronics Expo (GEEX) in Salt Lake City, UT. The game will be available in the US nationwide at Dave & Buster’s restaurant/entertainment complexes starting October 28.

Adrenaline Amusements in partnership with Epic Games, Inc. and its award-winning development studio, ChAIR Entertainment, today announced ‘Infinity Blade FX,’ the coin-up version of the blockbuster video game ‘Infinity Blade’ will be released nationwide this month.

The 46-inch arcade game will be playable at GEEX Consumer Expo in Salt Lake City, UT, October 14-15, 2011 at South Town Center Booth #423. ‘Infinity Blade FX,’ both in its single player and two- screen multi-player configuration will be playable across Dave & Buster’s 57 restaurant/entertainment complexes by October 28, 2011.

Infinity Blade FXAdrenaline marketing leader, Marc-Antoine Pinard added: “Like ‘Fruit Ninja,’ TouchFX versions of ‘Infinity Blade FX’ will also be seen in FEC, arcade, and amusements park locations around the world.”

GEEX Tournament: Gears of War 3 5v5 TDM

Gears of War 3 GEEX TournamentConceived and organized by a group of gaming enthusiasts and backed by MediaOne of Utah, the largest media company in the state of Utah, GEEX is the premier gaming and electronics expo in the mountain west and only growing. Now in it’s third year, we’ve made great partnerships with other organizations such as the PushButton Summit as well as with several major video game developers and publishers to make the 2011 GEEX better than ever.

Gears of War 3 GEEX TournamentThis year at GEEX, Epic Games will be sponsoring a Gears of War 3 Team Deathmatch Tournament! The prizes and rules have yet to be announced, but the tournament will be 5v5. Be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot. Tournament registration is based on a first come first serve basis. No guarantees are implied or given.

The GEEX Gaming & Electronic Expo runs from October 14 and 15, 2011 at the Southtowne Expo Center located at 9575 South State Street in Salt Lake City, Utah.
