Gears of War: Judgment Cup in Paris

6Arcade Berg, Gameplay Designer from People Can Fly joined Microsoft a few weeks ago in Paris for a Gears of War: Judgment event.

The event was the finals of a Gears of War tournament called “Gears of War: Judgment Cup.” It’s the first on-site gaming event Microsoft France has hosted for fans and even though it was restricted to France, there were over 100 teams participating!

There were also over 200 people watching the event in the audience.

Microsoft was partnered with France’s biggest online broadcasting network and online gaming portal and the entire event was streamed live via both channels.

5Along with the tournament, there was also a “Gears Quiz” competition where the audience competed in Gears trivia.

They won prizes like signed and framed posters and signed Judgment steel cases, etc. Their knowledge was amazing!

Team Exes walked away with first place and won lots of great prizes!

fnFraggedNation and CrReam present the 4v4 Gears of War Judgment Challenge! The “4v4 Challenge” is a series of tournaments which will occur in May, June and July. The focus of this event is to provide a competitive environment for Gears players with amazing prizing.

Pre-Order “Noobz” on iTunes!

noobzThe indie comedy “Noobz” is coming soon to iTunes and it is now available for pre-order. Noobz takes a look at competitive gaming and follows a clan of Gears of War 3 players on a road trip to enter the Cyberbowl Video Game Championships.

The folks at GAEMS will be hosting their very own Cyberbowl tournament featuring Gears of War 3. Teams will compete in a 2v2 battle on Gears of War 3 for a chance to win prizes donated by Epic Games and others.

The tournament will be streamed live on Twitch.tv and will also be featured on the front page of the GAEMS website. Make sure you stop on by to watch 4:00 PM PST January 26th, 2013.  Prior to the event, be sure to watch the team videos and vote for your favorites HERE.
