Broadcast Trailer Traces the Epic Journey of Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad from ‘Dust to Dust’
Debuting on Machinima today at 9:00 p.m. PDT, the new trailer will premiere on national broadcast TV Saturday, Sept. 3 to kickoff the college football season
The end is near. More than seven years ago, Epic Games and Microsoft introduced Marcus Fenix and his band of brothers in “Gears of War” for Xbox 360. On Sept. 20, 2011, their journey will come to a legendary conclusion with the launch of “Gears of War 3,” as Delta makes their final push to save the planet and all humanity… or die trying.
Releasing online today and on television this weekend, the new trailer for “Gears of War 3,” entitled ‘Dust to Dust,’ pays tribute to the heroes of one of gaming’s most epic sagas. Fans around the globe can tune into the world premiere via Machinima today at 9:00 p.m. PDT. And this weekend, the piece will debut in living rooms across the US during one of college football’s biggest opening weekend showdowns, the Cowboys Classic – LSU vs. Oregon at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PDT on ABC.
In April 2010, ‘Ashes to Ashes’ set a grim stage fraught with desperation, but a glimmer of hope remained as Delta clung to the ideal of brotherhood.
