IndieDB Announces Best UDK Game for Indie of the Year Contest
IndieDB has named Sp.A.I, a UDK-powered, third-person puzzle platformer, the top UDK game in its Indie of the Year 2010 competition. Developed by //No Comment, a group of five Queensland University of Technology students, Sp.A.I has placed highest in the Best UDK Game category and it has been named one of the best single-player games of IOTY 2010.
As their prize, the //No Comment development team will be flown to Epic Games’ Cary, NC headquarters to tour the brand new facility, speak with developers and present a demo of SP.A.I on the 16’x9’ display in Epic’s common area known as “The Arena.”
In Sp.A.I, players takes control of an artificially intelligent infiltration program called Aiva, whose abilities range from hacking systems, cracking fire walls and toying with security protocols.
Epic wishes to congratulate Sp.A.I’s creators and looks forward to their visit.
