Please be aware that deleting your account can’t be reversed, so make sure you want to complete this process before proceeding. If you change your mind after requesting deletion, you have 14 days to reactivate your account by logging into it. If you do not reactivate it, after 14 days your account will be permanently deleted.
If you are a parent who wants to delete their child's account, the quickest and easiest way to do it is by following the steps below. Another option is to submit a request through Player Support from here.
This process deletes all purchases, in-game progress, and items associated with your Epic Games account.
To delete your account, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your Epic account here: https://www.epicgames.com/account
Note: from your iOS device you can click “delete account” in the settings in-game to start the process.
When you log in, the ACCOUNT SETTINGS page displays. - Scroll to the DELETE ACCOUNT section and click the REQUEST ACCOUNT DELETE button.
A warning pop-up displays:
An “Enter Security Code” pop-up window displays after clicking on DELETE ACCOUNT. - Enter the security code sent to the email address associated with your Epic Games account.
- Click CONFIRM ACCOUNT DELETION.
A pop-up window displays asking you to choose why you decided to delete your Epic Games account. - Please select the option that best fits your experience from the drop-down menu, and then click CONTINUE.
After a few seconds, you’ll be logged out and your account will be deactivated. Your account will be permanently deleted in 14 days.
Note: During the account deletion time, the email and external linked accounts associated with your Epic Games account will still be considered in use until the deletion is completed.
